# FAQ

### Account and wallet

* **How many wallets can I bind?**

The current version supports one bound wallet per account.
* **Do I need to sign every time I view my portfolio?**

No. Astar Fi reads supported public onchain data. You do not need to provide a new wallet signature each time you view your portfolio.
* **Do Label or Cost Basis edits require a wallet signature?**

No. Eligible analytics edits are authorized through your active Google or X login and bound-wallet relationship. A separate wallet signature is not required for each edit.

These edits affect Astar Fi analytics only. They cannot move assets or change onchain transaction history.
* **Do I need to switch networks to view my portfolio?**

Usually not. Astar Fi brings supported Ethereum and Base data into one view. You may need to switch networks in your wallet when authorizing an onchain transaction.

### Portfolio and Save

* **Why is Total Net Worth different from the balance shown in my wallet?**

A wallet may show only the tokens held directly at your address. Astar Fi can also include supported positions held through protocols and vaults.

Unsupported, suspicious, or unpriced assets may be excluded from Total Net Worth.
* **Why is an asset or position missing?**

The asset may use an unsupported network or contract, lack a reliable price source, belong to an unsupported protocol, or not yet be indexed.

The live product is the most current source for supported assets and positions.
* **Why is Investment PnL estimated?**

Investment PnL depends on available prices, cost basis, transaction classification, and supported activity history. Missing historical information, external transfers, or user-provided cost information can affect the result.
* **What portfolio information can I edit?**

Depending on the activity, you may be able to edit its Label, provide eligible cost information, or split an incoming transfer between multiple sources.

You cannot edit onchain balances, token amounts, transaction hashes, addresses, timestamps, networks, contracts, or whether a transaction occurred.
* **Does changing a Label change my assets?**

No. A Label changes how an activity is classified in Astar Fi analytics. It cannot move assets or alter the original onchain transaction.
* **How is the cost of an incoming investment asset determined?**

When an investment asset enters from an external or untracked source, Astar Fi uses its market price at the transaction time as the default cost.

If you provide the original cost per token, Astar Fi recalculates the position’s average cost, Unrealized PnL, and ROI using that information.
* **What is Reconciliation?**

Reconciliation is the remaining portfolio value change not explained by Investment PnL, Net Money Flow, or Cost Basis Change.

It may include gas costs, pricing differences, indexing gaps, and rounding effects.
* **Why can’t I edit a recognized Swap, Bridge, or Vault activity?**

When Astar Fi reliably identifies the full activity, it applies the relevant system logic to keep portfolio calculations consistent.

If an activity cannot be fully matched or part of it falls outside supported coverage, it may appear as a transfer in or transfer out with eligible Label controls.

### Earn

* **Which protocols are supported?**

Astar Fi supports selected Aave, Morpho, and Midas products on Ethereum and Base, where available.

Product coverage can change. Refer to the live Earn interface for the current list.
* **Why does a position appear in Save but not Earn?**

Some positions can be indexed and valued in Save but are not enabled for transactions through the Earn interface.
* **Will a position appear if I supplied directly through a protocol?**

It can, provided the position belongs to the bound wallet and the product, contract, and network are supported.
* **What are Earning Now and Earning to Date?**

Earning Now shows the current value and weighted APY of your active supported Earn positions.

Earning to Date shows estimated cumulative yield since June 1, 2026, which is the current tracking start date.
* **Does Astar Fi guarantee APY, liquidity, or redemption time?**

No. APY, liquidity, and redemption information are estimates based on available product and protocol data. They can change over time.
* **What do Prime, Balanced, and Aggressive mean?**

These are broad Astar Fi Risk Tiers designed to support product comparison. They are separate from the Astar Fi Rating and do not guarantee safety or future performance.

### Invest

* **What is Stablecoin Buying Power?**

Stablecoin Buying Power is the supported stablecoin balance held directly in your bound wallet and available for supported Invest transactions.

Stablecoins already deployed in Earn positions are not included.
* **Does setting a Target change my portfolio?**

No. A Target provides a comparison point for your current allocation. It does not move assets or initiate transactions.
* **Does adding an asset to the Watchlist create alerts?**

Not in the current version. The Watchlist provides a convenient way to follow selected supported markets.
* **Why is an asset visible in Markets but unavailable to buy?**

Market-data coverage and execution availability are different.

Astar Fi uses OKX Swap for supported trade execution. A trade may be unavailable because of insufficient liquidity, network availability, routing limitations, or current market conditions.
* **What order types are supported?**

The current version supports market Buy and Sell orders when an eligible execution route is available.
* **Does an Invest trade update Save?**

Yes. After the transaction is confirmed and indexed, a recognized trade updates the relevant Money Position, Investment Position, Cost Basis, and Investment PnL calculations.

A recognized trade does not create external Money Flow because the transaction reallocates value within the tracked portfolio.

### Fees, transactions, and data

* **Does Astar Fi charge fees?**

Astar Fi currently charges no subscription fee or additional platform transaction fee.

Network fees, protocol fees, product fees, execution costs, slippage, and price impact may still apply. Any future Astar Fi pricing or platform fees will be disclosed before they take effect.
* **Can Astar Fi reverse a transaction?**

No. Astar Fi cannot reverse a confirmed onchain transaction.
* **Why can the final amount differ from the estimate?**

Network conditions, slippage, price impact, route changes, protocol calculations, fees, and transaction timing can affect the final amount.

Review the transaction details in your wallet before approving it.
* **Why does Astar Fi show different values from another portfolio tracker?**

Portfolio trackers may support different networks, contracts, protocols, price sources, indexing schedules, spam filters, and position models.

Cost-basis methodology, transaction classification, and rounding can also produce different results.
