# Risks, Security & Important Information

Astar Fi brings portfolio analytics, selected third-party products, and supported transaction routes into one interface. Onchain assets, protocols, and transactions involve risk. Read the relevant product information and understand what you are authorizing before acting.

### Wallet control and account security

You keep control of your connected wallet. Astar Fi does not take custody of your funds or private keys.

Onchain transactions require authorization through your wallet. Astar Fi cannot recover lost wallet access, reverse completed transactions, or move assets without wallet approval.

Protect your login methods, devices, wallet recovery information, and connected applications. Use only verified Astar Fi links and review every transaction request before approving it. Astar Fi and its team will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, recovery phrase, wallet backup file, password, or one-time authentication code.

Label changes and other eligible analytics edits are authorized through your active social login and bound-wallet relationship. They do not require a separate wallet signature for every edit and cannot transfer assets.

### Smart-contract and protocol risk

Third-party smart contracts may contain defects, be exploited, be upgraded, or behave unexpectedly. Protocol governance, parameters, integrations, and operating conditions can also change.

Product selection, Risk Tier, and Rating provide context. They do not remove risk or guarantee the safety of a product.

### Liquidity and redemption risk

Withdrawals and redemptions may be delayed or limited by utilization, available liquidity, settlement periods, issuer processes, market conditions, or protocol rules.

Displayed liquidity and redemption estimates can change and are not guarantees that funds will be available at a particular time or price.

### Market, stablecoin, and pricing risk

Asset prices can change rapidly. Stablecoins and other stable-value products can lose their intended value.

Oracles, market-data providers, and other pricing sources may fail, lag, or differ from prices available for actual execution.

### APY and yield risk

APY is variable and can decline. Incentives may end, fees may change, and realized returns may differ from displayed estimates.

Higher yield can involve greater smart-contract, liquidity, credit, market, counterparty, or issuer risk.

### Third-party and execution risk

Astar Fi relies on wallets, protocols, issuers, data providers, APIs, indexers, execution providers, and other external services. Outages, inaccurate data, restrictions, or policy changes may affect product availability and results.

Quotes can expire, available routes can change, and transactions can fail or execute differently from the estimate shown.

### Tokenized-asset risk

A tokenized asset may not provide the same rights as direct ownership of its reference asset.

Tokenized assets can involve issuer, custodian, legal, redemption, liquidity, market-hours, pricing, counterparty, and jurisdictional risks. Review the relevant issuer and product documentation before transacting.

### Data and analytics risk

Portfolio values and analytics may be incomplete or inaccurate because of missing cost basis, external transfers, unsupported networks or contracts, delayed indexing, unavailable prices, rounding, or transaction-classification limits.

Astar Fi is not a tax ledger or audited financial statement. Analytics should be reviewed alongside wallet records, transaction history, protocol data, and other relevant sources.

### Eligibility and independent judgment

Product and route availability may depend on your jurisdiction, wallet, network, provider, and applicable restrictions.
